Gay marriages may begin in Virginia very soon.  It seems that Virginia is about to join a growing number of states in this country that recognize same-sex marriage as legally legitimate.  RVA news reports that the US Court of Appeals for the Fourth District created a path forward for same-sex couples to marry in Virginia with a recent ruling explained in the article below.  Unless the Supreme Court intervenes, same-sex couples may file for marriage in Virginia, or have existing out-of-state marriages recognized in Virginia, starting August 20th.
