Alex Pinkleton maintains an active trial practice, including family law (divorce, child custody, and support), estate/fiduciary litigation (will disputes, trust contests), and civil litigation from our Richmond, Virginia office of Smith Strong PLC. Alex appears in court weekly throughout central Virginia, including a 1.5-hour radius surrounding Richmond, VA, encompassing well over 17 counties.
Alex grew up in Prince George County and attended Maggie L. Walker Governor's School in Richmond. After high school, she attended UVA, majoring in both Foreign Affairs and Spanish. After college, Alex earned her Juris Doctor from William and Mary Law School.
Following law school, Alex served as a law clerk to two federal magistrate judges in Texas. Before joining Smith Strong, she practiced as a litigation associate in Austin, Texas, and subsequently spent two years as a litigation associate at a mid-sized law firm in Richmond.
When Alex is not in the office, she practices circus arts.
Alex is admitted to practice in Virginia and Texas.
