Travis was born and raised in Chesterfield and spent a few years in Baltimore, Maryland before moving back to Henrico to start high school. After graduating from Douglas Freeman High School, Travis attended North Carolina State University, recently graduating at the top of the 2025 class with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Travis spent the summer of 2025 as an audit intern at a Big 4 accounting firm in downtown Richmond before joining us here at Smith Strong, PLC in early September.
Travis now serves as a Paralegal, supporting the family law (divorce/custody) practice group. He hopes to attend law school starting in August of 2026 after a year of working for Smith Strong, PLC and, with help from his strong background in accounting, hopes to one day venture into the field of corporate law.
In his spare time, Travis enjoys golfing, marathon running, lifting weights, reading nonfiction books, and rooting for the Wolfpack and Commanders.
