In divorce situations, ex-spouses can be tempted to post less-than-positive sentiments on Facebook about one another.  Or, your ex's new girlfriend or boyfriend might post pictures of your children without your permission, which can be infuriating.

Try your very best to resist the temptation to retaliate on Facebook.  Take the high ground and stay calm--do not respond to negative content or engage in hurtful Facebook interactions.

Rather, document anything negative your ex-spouse has posted, and bring that information with you to your attorney-client meeting. Your attorney will review that material with you for possible use in your divorce or custody negotiation.
